For 13 years I volunteered as a grief counsellor, but it was my personal experiences of loss that prompted the To Live and to Grieve Blog Until recently I was a Child and Families Worker to an inner city church in Australia. When my contract was completed it was suggested that I grow some of my on-line presence into what became " The cross in my backyard ", no longer serving one community but as a gift to parents/carers, and others involved in Child and Family Ministry.
